Not just bad service, unfair treatment, biased towards regulars. They made 5 sandwiches to patrons who ordered after us. It was a conscious decision to serve others before us. Not the first time, the last time they told us they lost our ticket. Today's experience made us question the reason. This is how they do business. Waited 20 minutes + and we were very aware because they made us extremely late to an appointment. No apology, her mouth said one thing but her body language screamed another, saying Sorry ,not sorry. Her excuse... she had to microwave an egg. Got a refund on sandwich, after reading some of the reviews of their food, I'm glad I did.

Local Grind Coffee + Cafe in Long Beach is a great spot to stop for coffee and a quick bite. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and it has a nice local cafe vibe whether you’re relaxing for a bit or grabbing something to go. I always appreciate a place with good drinks, good food, and a comfortable feel. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Long Beach!

As a local customer, I hit the jackpot. My Matcha and Iced Vanilla Latte were made to perfection! I made my own croissant and also got a turkey sandwich from the menu. They were both amazing. Their customer service was the best! I will definitely be coming back.

It's unfortunate, back in the day when this was an ITS A GRIND & and even after having to change names, the service / food / employees were great! But in the immortal words of David regarding Saul, " How the Mighty have fallen"!!! The sandwich looks as though a blind amputated 3yr old made it, the matcha is chalky, even AFTER remixing it, the 'hot' drinks are about as warm as tap water, you ask for flavored syrup and i guess the budget crisis must really be taking a toll on them because I received none ....I swore off starbucks almost 22 years ago, but experiences like this make me consider going back to corporate coffee

Their bagels are good and coffee, but don’t waste your money on the ham and cheese croissant sandwich. Plus the wait to get our food was 30 minutes. It was advertised as a build your own sandwich and you could add things, so I added avocado. It was greasy and mushy, so l I tried to eat it with a fork and knife. It was just barely edible. No refund or accommodation could be given. Stick with a bagel and cream cheese if you go there. Much safer option.
